Customer Reviews

"The food was always great! My partner and I ordered Oyters Po' Boy. The Chef today appeared to have forgotten to add the prime and distinctive seasoning like we had last time. The service was excellent. Sorry we can't remember the name of the server. She was always checking in and offered us selections of desserts. We ordered the Coconut Pie with Ice cream. It was excellent and was presented well. We were so stuff and we just ordered one to share. Last comment, there were two male customers on the bard and seemed to be arguing for some silly reasons. That ruined the great ambiance. Overall, it's still An excellent restaurant. We will continue to dine there. Thank you to the server for recognizing me as Marine Veteran!"

"I ordered a hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and a side of pasta salad. The pasta salad was amazing. The hamburger steak was pretty good. It tastes different from the last time. Not bad but it was better the last time. I got my food in a timely manner and the price of my dinner was affordable."

"Our first visit to Murfreesboro and stopped here for a late lunch. This is a very nice establishment. Beautifully decorated and the service was wonderful. The food was quite good, but not over the top for 5 stars. We would certainly go back."

"Just do it . Tavern 125 is a charming experience in a "more to just it's size" town . They make the first move with a hello when you walk through the door ( warm and welcoming ). Only for a drink to follow soon thereafter. Where the employees treat you human , you can only thank the service of the waitresses , cooks , manager and owner as you walk out of this place. Also, randomly to yourself the following days. They engage in conversation, and have great energy . If you want a stimulating story leaving you with questions , just ask for Amanda. I would recommended the "French Dip" ( Thank you Dawn !) as it comes with juicy sirloin slices and a more then savory dip. If you need any kind of reassurance , ask for Carolyn every time . You'll always remember this place ."

"Wish I had visited b4. Clean with good food. Staff was pleasant and polite. Will be going again."

"Waitress was kind and helpful. The place was clean and well maintained. The food was...... not so good. The kids meal had more and better food than the $30 adult meal. My kids ordered the shrimp basket kids meal. Neither could finish it and their food was really good for the price. My wife and I ordered the seafood medley each. For $30 we received 4 jumbo shrimp, 3 1\2 scallops and a couple tablespoons of shredded crab in a bowl of melted butter. It came with 2 sides (I hade fries and pasta salad). those were really good. Probably the best fries I have had in a long time. The seafood was not "bad" just not worth the price. Will go back though as I want to give it another try. Could have just been a off night. And like I said before the shrimp my kids received were great."

"I was planning on meeting an old friend in this neck of the woods, he suggested a few restaurants. I decided on Tavern 125 based on other reviewers and the it's website. I can really appreciate an establishment like Tavern 125. I live in Va Beach. It is just so special to park on the curb in the heart of town and walk into a cozy place like this. Our server was extremely accommodating and friendly. I just ordered my favorite, a cheese burger/bacon and fries. My friend had a shrimp platter with onion rings. There was nothing to complain about. We were about the first guest there at noon. Other guest soon entered. They do have an patio for dining. I don't know when I'll get back that way but I would definitely go back to Tavern 125."
